Nicht nur in Europa, sondern auch in Amerika wird Wasserstoff zukünftig eine wichtige Rolle spielen. Wasserstoff ist ungiftig, lässt sich speichern und über Pipelines relativ einfach verteilen. Und sobald Wasserstoff (H) in einer Brennstoffzelle mit dem Sauerstoff (O) aus der Luft reagiert und Strom erzeugt, dann entsteht als Abgas nichts weiter als H2O, also reines Wasser.
